seven group standards released by jiangsu auto industry association, proposed and put under centralized management by jiangsu internet of vehicles (iov) automobile standardization committee, such as specification on data collection interface for road traffic signal controllers, come into effect on august 1st. and duolun technology played an active part in formulating three of them, namely, specification on dynamic data collection interface for road traffic, specification on data collection interface for parking and specification on data collection interface for road traffic signal controllers.
01 empower internet of vehicles (iov), drive standardization
the group standards issued this time are intended for iov-based roadside facilities and equipment, such as road traffic signal controllers, road traffic signs, roadside laser radar and roadside millimeter wave radar, and data collection for parking management and vehicle management. according to the data requirements of iov application in jiangsu province, the data exchange system structure, communication mode, data exchange mode, interface format and information content are defined and standardized with full consideration given to various data exchange modes. these standards help unify interfaces for iov to collect data from different sources, connect existing information silos, and realize data exchange and information sharing among multiple devices.
02 concerted efforts to promote industrial innovation and development
the formulation of these group standards was launched and led by jiangsu smart travel future automobile research institute, and was directed and supported by experts from member units of jiangsu internet of vehicles (iov) automobile standardization committee. 24 units, including jiangsu traffic police corps, nanjing traffic police detachment, duolun technology, zhejiang hikailink, suzhou higer, southeast university, jiangsu university, soochow university and southwest jiaotong university, contributed a lot to standard compilation, road test verification, document review, revision and improvement, and achieved remarkable results.
based on the multi-scenario, multi-application vehicle-road collaborative service capability enabled by road traffic signal controllers, as well as project integration construction experience, duolun technology played an active part in the frame finalization and content compilation of the types, components and requirements of road traffic data and parking data under the iov environment when participating in the formulation of group standards.
03 a pioneer and doer to promote industrial transformation and upgrading
as a leading service provider of 5g iov system integrated operation in china, duolun technology had a part in the construction and operation of the first national pilot zone for iov - wuxi pilot zone intelligent networked vehicle test base project. it strives to become a pioneer and doer of smart transportation and smart travel, and actively contributes to the construction of smart cities.
in the future, duolun technology will make continued efforts to be an important contributor to standard formulation in the field of iov, and boost the innovation and development of the national iov industry, as well as the transformation and upgrading of the industry in an all-round way.
